Excellent Fantasy Series February 23, 2010 Claude H. Suddreth (Phoenix, AZ USA) If you enjoyed Lord of the Rings, and wish you could find another series that captures the scope and grandeur of Tolkiens original, this may be the series for you. I have read more series of fantasy novels than I care to admit to over the past 25 years, and this series is hands down one of the best out there. It is set in a similar world to LOTR with humans, elves, dwarfs, halflings (hobbits), with wizards and rangers, assassins and barbarians, and the whole genre of DND fantasy. The writing style is engrossing and draws you in deeper and deeper. I found myself up many a night well past bedtime, because I wanted to read just one more chapter. An excellent read!
r.a. salvatore February 6, 2010 Janine Thompson (Herkimer, NY) I ordered this book for my daughter's boyfriend as a gift. He is hooked on this author. This was a great price. My order arrived on time and in good condition. Would recommend this seller to anyone.
Not the greatest of this series January 11, 2010 B. G. Rufleth (Boston, MA USA) Paths of Darkness wanders away from the typical set of characters. Some will enjoy the exploration of something different but I didn't find these stories as interesting as past installments. If you're a fan of the series I would definitely suggest you not skip these but on their own I wouldn't give them a second look.
excellent January 1, 2010 Michelle Coltrane (Stratford CT) If you are a true Drizzt fan it doesnt matter what i say here because you probably already read the other books leading up to these three books. and they do not dissappoint whatsoever. My family was getting mad at me cause i couldnt put the books down..LOL
Good September 24, 2009 Kelly Glover (MO USA) This set was a good read but by far my least favorite of the entire series.
